When this saltwater gets into the undercarriage of your vehicle, it will cause corrosion to its most vital components. Over time, this corrosion can weaken your vehicle’s structural integrity and can affect steering and suspension, ultimately compromising the overall safety. As an added issue, the natural humidity and warm, salty air in the lowcountry causes the corrosive process to happen at a rate 10 times faster than in other climates.

Our eco-friendly undercoating is lab-tested and proven to create a barrier that can’t be broken, chipped, or cracked. By staying fluid, the petroleum-based rust protection heals back over after any abrasions providing lasting protection, even in extreme conditions. Unlike conventional undercoating, which covers and encapsulates rust, this oil penetrates through rust to the base metal. It is self-healing, designed to displace moisture and remove oxygen which prevents oxidation from ever occurring. Our corrosion inhibitors will then fight rust on a chemical level - penetrating deep into seams, body cavities, and spot welds, creating a barrier against the elements in an environment prone to hold moisture and conducive to corrosion.

NH Oil Undercoating® is a highly refined food-grade mineral oil product specifically formulated with the environment in mind. It is non-hazardous and causes no health or flammability hazards. The technical term is resolute oil, otherwise known as mineral oil. It is a food-safe grade oil that does not contain any solvents or detergents.

Our oil has natural corrosion inhibitors otherwise known as “green inhibitors”, derived from plants and animal fats. It is an environmentally friendly product and does not drip making it safe to apply in any location.

Our oil-based, laboratory-engineered product will simultaneously fight corrosion and provide continued protection on a chemical level. By displacing moisture, the presence of oil will deprive the surface of oxygen, ensuring that oxidation cannot occur. It penetrates all cervices, spreads out along metal for complete coverage and achieves the highest environmental standards. As long as NH oil undercoating is present, rust is held at bay.

Designed and formulated to creep throughout the undercarriage, the oil will migrate into the small or weak areas of a vehicle including rocker panels, door panels, etc - areas highly prone to rust. Over the course of a warm month, it is not uncommon for our oil to move as much as several inches deeper into the vehicle, protecting even more surfaces. For example, In a cross member of a pickup truck bed, that would encapsulate the entire inside surface area.

NHOU is atomized under high pressure which pushes the product deep into the seams, cracks and crevices where corrosion starts. Once applied, the product removes the moisture in these areas and provides a strong adherence to these surfaces, remaining active with excellent “creeping” and self-healing abilities.

While driving habits may vary, we recommend an annual application in order to maintain adequate protection.

If your vehicle is exposed to salt water or flooding on a more consistent basis, we recommend a bi-annual application.

Absolutely not! Because NH Oil Undercoating® is an entirely different approach, it eliminates annoying electrical malfunctions and makes the vehicle work better and last longer.
